The Ibsen Project: A Lonely Light
(interdisciplinary full-length play)
The year is 1878. The place is Rome, Italy. The Norwegian playwright, Henrik Ibsen, is preparing to write a new play. Norina di Moretti, a young artist from Italy, just wants to paint. What happens when the lives of these two artists collide in this play about the volatile nature of creating art? Set in a deconstructed world with factual and fictional characters and circumstances, A Lonely Light, explores what it means to be an artist in a changing world full of challenges and choices.
